Earthing, i.e. the magical power flowing from nature
More and more hours spent at a desk in concrete-covered cities make us lose closeness to nature. Together with her, we also lose the valuable healing power that comes from direct contact with Mother Earth. The concept of grounding assumes that connection with the energy of the planet has healing power - both for our body and spirit.
What exactly is grounding?
Earthing is nothing else than drawing electrical energy and beneficial ions from the Earth. Our bodies are bioelectric conductors - all cells transmit many frequencies among themselves, between the heart, nervous system, muscles, etc.
During direct contact of the body with the Earth, electrons are exchanged and the electrical energy of the human body is equalized.
So the main idea of grounding is to connect to the Earth. To get the expected results, we should ground ourselves regularly, for 15-30 minutes every day. There are many ways to ground, including:
- Walking barefoot, e.g. walking on the beach, or walking barefoot on the grass;
- Full body immersion in water;
- Lying on the ground (parts of the body without clothing).
However, what if the weather outside is not conducive to grounding outdoors? Are there any ways to take advantage of the benefits of contact with the Earth without leaving home? Of course! The easiest way is to simply purchase a grounding mat. If we want to recreate contact with nature as best as possible, we can stimulate more senses - such as smell and taste. Natural incense such as Palo Santo and natural infusions without artificial additives will be perfect for this purpose - the Forest Touch mixture will be a good choice.
Benefits of grounding
At this point, there hasn't been much scientific research yet on the specific benefits of grounding. However, many people confirm that grounding had a positive impact on their health. The benefits include:
- Reducing stress levels, cortisol secretion and anxiety;
- Reduction of muscle tension and headache;
- Reducing inflammation in the body;
- Pain reduction;
- Positive effect on sleep and chronic fatigue;
- Production of endorphins - happiness hormones.
So, will you try it? :)
